As Tom Haverford and Donna Meagle would say, "Treat Yo' Self". - Parks and Recreation
A Spa Day Party is a wonderful way to relax in the comfort of your own home, or friends place! This party is excellent to get together with others to enjoy the simple pleasures in life.
Go as big or little as you would like, everyone will enjoy the day no matter what! At the very least, you will be pampered by the time it’s over.
Spa Day Party Guide
This party idea is great for all ages, any day of the week. Odds are, you already own many of the items on this list so this could be a cheap excuse to get your friends or family together.
The purpose of this party is to destress - this is why I’m here to suggest all you need to host a successful day!
Step #1: Set a date, create the budget & determine the location
A Spa Day theme can work any day of the week! It's raining? Spa Day. Hard workout at the gym? Spa Day. Sunny and 75 degrees? Spa day. See, it works!
Get out your nail polish around the house, cut up that cucumber, and pop some champagne! Most likely, you have many items around your house already that can be used for a Spa Day Party, or can become a decoration item. It's important to recognize your financial situation - whether you go big or small, everyone will enjoy themselves!
This party can be celebrated at your home, local spa, city hall - anywhere! Just be sure to go somewhere you find comfort, and pamper yourself.
Step #2: Send the invitations
There are many ways to get the word out about your event. I've been hooked on designing my invitations on https://www.canva.com/ - an easy to use online graphic design tool. When I say easy to use, I mean it. I am no wiz, but my secret is using the templates. You can define the theme you want, and the vibe you are going for with the font, colors, etc. Just change up the words, and send it out! Canva is free to use, and not too pricey if you want the Pro version with all the bells and whistles.
An easy way to keep track of your guest list is to create a Facebook event. You can host the event as public or private, post photos, and keep everyone connected before and after! This can help ease the nerves of others by seeing who is invited, and how many people are planning on going.
